Pretty excited for this. Lots of stars including Leonardo DiCaprio and Toby McGuire will be in this film. Directed by Baz Luhrman who did Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge, which you can get a feel from this trailer with the extravagant lights and fireworks. This is a short but thrilling and funny short film for NYU Tisch’s 48 hour film festival. My man Nick Callas and his peers directed, produced, shot, wrote, edited, recorded and performed this. Hell yes! That’s all I really have to say about this. Being a sci-fi fan and an avid watcher of great movies, this trailer is awesome for a couple reason. First it looks like a kick-ass space thriller, second it gives face to the rumors of Prometheus being a prequel to Alien series. I’m always excited for a new war movie. This time it looks to be about an all black regiment of fighter pilots. The only other war movie I can think of that’s about racism in war is Glory. Glory was an amazing movie thanks to the performances of Denzel and Mathew Brodrick. This trailer got me pretty amp’d though I can’t lie, I can feel the emotional drama already. Tweet
